Biển Hy Lạp
Vào mùa vui lễ hội.
Sóng làm duyên,
Mềm mại lướt valse.
Múa Bale,
uốn mình tha thướt.
Nhạc biển vang,
sóng dồn hôn bờ cát.
Điệu Tango,
Vui xoắn xuýt bạc đầu.
Biển và bờ,
muôn thuở của nhau.
Sóng xa bờ Elafonisi
ủ màu xanh nhung nhớ.
Bờ Sarakiniko xa sóng,
Cát trắng phau than thở.
Ngày bên nhau,
Vui hớn hở… rì rầm.
Trao hương thầm,
Sóng vũ điệu Disco.
Địa Trung Hải, Hy Lạp ơi!
Vũ điệu biển bờ dào dạt ước mơ.
Chiếc nôi văn minh, cất cánh hồn thơ.
THE DANCE OF THE GREEK SEA
(Dedicated to poet Iakovos Theras Karamolegkos and Greek friends)

The Greek sea
Enters the festive season.
Waves play graceful,
Gliding in a gentle waltz.
Performing Ballet,
Bending in elegant curves.
The ocean music echoes,
Waves surge to kiss the sandy shore.
In a Tango dance,
Frothing white, twirling in joy.
Sea and shore,
Eternally belonging to one another.
Far offshore, the waves of Elafonisi
Nurture a green hue of longing.
Far from the waves,
the shore of Sarakiniko
Sighs in pristine white sand.
Days spent together,
Joyful, bustling, whispering low.
Exchanging a secret scent,
Waves dance to the Disco rhythm.
Oh Mediterranean, oh Greece!
The sea and shore dance, surging with dreams.
Cradle of civilization, taking wing the poetic soul.
