Sáng ngày 15/5, Buổi lễ kỷ niệm 160 năm ra đời vở kịch “Pinskaya Shlyakhta” và 180 năm hài kịch “Idylla” của đại văn hào Vincent Dunin-Martsinkevich đã được tổ chức trang trọng tại Hà Nội. Sự kiện không chỉ tôn vinh người đặt nền móng cho văn học hiện đại Belarus mà còn thắt chặt hơn nữa mối quan hệ hữu nghị, giao lưu văn hóa giữa Belarus và Việt Nam.

Buổi lễ vinh dự đón tiếp sự hiện diện của nhiều nhà ngoại giao cấp cao: Đại sứ Liên bang Nga tại Việt Nam Gennady Stepanovich Bezdetko; Đại sứ Cộng hòa Kazakhstan tại Việt Nam Tumysh Kanat Kobylandyuly; Đại sứ Cộng hòa Belarus tại Việt Nam Uladzimir Uladzimiravich Baravikou; Tham tán Đại sứ quán Cộng hòa Azerbaijan tại Việt Nam Samir Malikli; và ông Vitali Nekhai đại diện Cộng đồng Belarus tại Việt Nam. Về phía Việt Nam, sự kiện có sự tham gia của Chủ tịch Hội Nhà văn Việt Nam – Nhà thơ Nguyễn Quang Thiều, Giám đốc NXB Hội Nhà văn – Bà Nguyễn Thúy Hằng, cùng Dịch giả, Nhà giáo ưu tú Vũ Thế Khôi trong vai trò người dẫn dắt chương trình.

Tôn vinh “Ngôn ngữ của dân tộc Belarus”

Trọng tâm của sự kiện là tôn vinh Vincent Dunin-Martsinkevich (thế kỷ 19), người được mệnh danh là cha đẻ của kịch nghệ và sân khấu chuyên nghiệp Belarus. Tại buổi lễ, đại diện Đại sứ quán Belarus nhấn mạnh: “Nếu Yanka Kupala là linh hồn của dân tộc Belarus, thì Vincent Dunin-Martsinkevich chính là ngôn ngữ của họ”. 

Thông qua hai tác phẩm kinh điển Idylla và Pinskaya Shlyakhta, Vincent Dunin-Martsinkevich đã khắc họa sâu sắc tính cách độc đáo của người Belarus, đồng thời đặt ra những câu hỏi triết lý về sự thật, dối trá, và lòng dũng cảm – những giá trị vẫn vẹn nguyên tính thời sự cho đến ngày nay.

Văn học không cần visa để vượt qua biên giới

Phát biểu tại buổi lễ, Chủ tịch Hội Nhà văn Việt Nam Nguyễn Quang Thiều khẳng định tầm ảnh hưởng sâu rộng của văn học Nga và Belarus trong đời sống tinh thần của người Việt. Nhận định về vở kịch Pinskaya Shlyakhta, ông chia sẻ: “Tác phẩm được viết cách đây 160 năm nhưng tư tưởng của nó vẫn đang hiện diện trong đời sống đương đại. Đọc lại tác phẩm, tôi cảm giác tác giả như một người Việt Nam, vì ông đã nói lên chính những điều mà chúng ta đang phải đối mặt”.

Ông cũng nhấn mạnh sức mạnh của văn học: “Các tác phẩm văn học không bao giờ cần visa để nhập cảnh, và các nhà văn chính là những sứ giả vượt qua mọi biên giới để mang cái đẹp đến với nhân loại.”

Đồng tình với quan điểm này, ông Vitaly Yaroslavich Nekhaev, Đại diện cộng đồng Belarus tại Việt Nam, cho rằng văn hóa là cây cầu bền vững nhất giữa các dân tộc. Việc các tác phẩm của Belarus được vang lên tại một quốc gia có bề dày truyền thống văn chương như Việt Nam mang một ý nghĩa biểu tượng sâu sắc.

Trong khuôn khổ sự kiện, Đại sứ Liên bang Nga cũng gửi lời chúc mừng tới Đại sứ quán Belarus, đồng thời đánh giá cao nỗ lực quảng bá văn học quốc gia, giúp bạn bè quốc tế hiểu rõ hơn về văn hóa và truyền thống của Belarus.

Trải nghiệm văn hóa đa giác quan

Không chỉ lắng nghe các tham luận chuyên sâu, các khách mời còn được thưởng thức trực tiếp một trích đoạn kịch Pinskaya Shlyakhta để cảm nhận rõ nét hơn về bối cảnh, trang phục và ngôn ngữ sân khấu Belarus. Buổi lễ khép lại trong không khí ấm cúng của phần giao lưu tự do, nơi những người yêu văn hóa cùng nhau thưởng thức các món ăn truyền thống mang đậm hương vị quốc gia Belarus.

Sự kiện kỷ niệm lần này được kỳ vọng sẽ mở ra một chương mới cho sự hợp tác dài lâu giữa Đại sứ quán Belarus và Hội Nhà văn Việt Nam, hứa hẹn mang đến nhiều dự án dịch thuật và xuất bản ý nghĩa trong thời gian tới.

Celebration of Belarusian Literary Heritage in Vietnam – A Bridge of Culture and Friendship

Recently, the ceremony commemorating the 160th anniversary of the play “Pinskaya Shlyakhta” and the 180th anniversary of the comedy “Idylla” by the great author Vincent Dunin-Martsinkevich was solemnly held in Vietnam. The event not only honored the founder of modern Belarusian literature but also further strengthened the friendly relations and cultural exchange between Belarus and Vietnam.

The ceremony was honored to welcome the presence of many high-ranking diplomats: Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Vietnam Gennady Stepanovich Bezdetko; Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Vietnam Tumysh Kanat Kobylandyuly; Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus to Vietnam Uladzimir Uladzimiravich Baravikou; Counselor of the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Vietnam Samir Malikli; and Mr. Vitali Nekhai, representative of the Belarusian Community in Vietnam. On the Vietnamese side, the event was attended by the President of the Vietnam Writers’ Association – Poet Nguyen Quang Thieu, the Director of the Writers’ Association Publishing House – Ms. Nguyen Thuy Hang, and Translator, Meritorious Teacher Vu The Khoi serving as the host.

Honoring the “Language of the Belarusian Nation”

The focus of the event was to honor Vincent Dunin-Martsinkevich (19th century), widely regarded as the father of Belarusian professional drama and theater. Speaking at the ceremony, the representative of the Belarusian Embassy emphasized: “If Yanka Kupala is the soul of the Belarusian nation, then Vincent Dunin-Martsinkevich is their language.” Through his two classic works, Idylla and Pinskaya Shlyakhta, he profoundly depicted the unique characteristics of the Belarusian people while raising philosophical questions about truth, lies, and courage, values that remain highly relevant to this day.

Literature needs no visa to cross borders

Delivering a speech at the event, President of the Vietnam Writers’ Association Nguyen Quang Thieu affirmed the profound influence of Russian and Belarusian literature on the spiritual life of Vietnamese people. Commenting on the play Pinskaya Shlyakhta, he shared: “The work was written 160 years ago, but its ideology is still present in contemporary life. Rereading the work, I feel as if the author is Vietnamese, because he spoke of the very issues we are facing today.” Mr. Nguyen Quang Thieu also highlighted the power of literature: “Literary works never need a visa to enter a country, and writers are the messengers who cross all borders to bring beauty to humanity.” Agreeing with this perspective, Mr. Vitaly Yaroslavich Nekhaev, Representative of the Belarusian community in Vietnam, stated that culture is the most enduring bridge between nations. The fact that Belarusian works are resonating in a country with such a rich literary tradition as Vietnam carries a profound symbolic meaning.

Within the framework of the event, the Ambassador of the Russian Federation also extended his congratulations to the Belarusian Embassy, highly appreciating their efforts in promoting national literature and helping international friends better understand the culture and traditions of Belarus.

A multi-sensory cultural experience

Beyond listening to in-depth presentations, guests were also treated to a live performance of an excerpt from the play Pinskaya Shlyakhta to gain a clearer sense of the setting, costumes, and theatrical language of Belarus. The ceremony concluded in the cozy atmosphere of an open networking session, where culture enthusiasts gathered to enjoy traditional dishes infused with the national flavors of Belarus.

This commemorative event is expected to open a new chapter for long-term cooperation between the Embassy of Belarus and the Vietnam Writers’ Association, promising to bring many meaningful translation and publishing projects in the near future.
